Agenda
8:30am-12pm — Milking sheep and goats. Handling, leading, restraining, drenching, hoof care, and vaccinating sheep and goats.
12-1pm — Lunch
1pm-3pm — Basic Healthcare for sheep and goats- from bottle baby to weaned and adults. Parasite prevention, treatments, and other healthcare tips. FAMACHA and BCS scoring practice. Pasture tips and how to move/catch sheep or goats in a pasture situation. 2:30 pm – More practice- milking sheep, goats and cows for anyone who is interested.
